Q.Me™ is a cloud-based software platform that supports cutting edge P2P (peer-to-peer) video streaming and applies crowdsourcing concepts to professional services. The Q.Me™ platform allows individuals to gain access to quick and easy advice from professionals and experts in many different industry sectors, including attorneys, social services professionals, computer and technology professionals, tax professionals, investment and financial professionals, medical and mental health professionals, and others. Professionals at work or at home are put into queues and automatically matched with those who need assistance. As location and geography are not constraints, the number of people able to offer and receive services is unlimited.
The Q.Me™ platform has a significant public and social purpose. In the non-profit sector, Q.Me™ is targeted towards providing pro-bono virtual services, including virtual legal services, tutoring services, mental health services, or other remote services to those in need, including homeless individuals at clinics, veterans, and/or others receiving various government assistance. The product builds on a traditional virtual services model such that the number of volunteers and those needing assistance can be scaled to support multiple geographic locations, large numbers of volunteers, and people needing assistance. This product is currently being piloted for volunteer and pro bono legal services by a 501c3 non-profit in California named Q.Me Place.
